Have you ever been cloy to Filipino foods? Well, if you are, then try to eat in Pan de Cagayan. Their foods are all delicious that will make you satiated in your starvation. Two words to describe their foods “very satisfying”.
Ambiance
We find it hard to choose the best place for our food review. But, suddenly Dixylee and I crave for something different in our taste buds… something that is not ‘Filipino foods’. Then Kim suggested this old fashioned restaurant. Last Tuesday we tried this restaurant, Pan de Cagayan. It is located at Taft St. Tuguegarao City near St. Paul University. Because of our strong craving of not Filipino foods, so out of curiosity we went to Pan De Cagayan and ordered some of their bestselling foods. The ambiance was nice; it was a home that was converted into a resto. Their light quality and the texture of the house is perfect. It makes your photo perfect too. The location is perfect and the food is great. The place feels like home, an old house turned into a comfy and relaxing place.
Hospitality
The staff are courteous even though they are not offering filipino foods but their attitude or manners is 100% Filipino. I mean we all know that Filipino is very hospitable.
Taste and Texture
We ordered 3 different dishes such as; Carbonara and Tuna Presto that nothing gets any creamier than this. The carbonara is linguine with ham and bacon in a parmesan cream sauce while the tune pesto is also a pasta perfect for herb lovers. An d the last food that we ordered is the Quesadillas that is good for 3 and it is a homemade tortillas. First time you smell and saw the food you’re already full. Because it’s very satisfying and delicious Don’t worry for the price because it is affordable and it is worth the price. The Carbonara and Tuna Presto is 45 pesos only and the Quesadillas is only for 55 pesos.
Overall
We enjoyed the food. They made our tummy full and we had a good night sleep after eating. But seriously, we’re happy we have tried the best food in Cagayan.
